    Now that Danske (National Irish Bank) have effectively ended their service to personal customers what bank would people here recommend I move my current account to?

    you will still be able to lodge at any post office

    I know this, however I want a bank that provides a proper face to face service not just telephone and e-banking. This isn't just some sort of luddite anti progress attitude I have a reason for wanting a proper bank branch which I intend to switch to in the New Year
