Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a 27 inch Apple cinema display. Currently I have the monitor connected to my iMac. After Xmas I will purchase a new laptop (PC). The new laptop will have a mini display port.

Can I use the cinema display with my new laptop?

The apple display does not have Thunderbolt it is the model just before the Thunderbolt release.

Can't imagine why it wouldn't work? Is the ACD not a Mini Display connection anyways?

Yes it is. I was trying to connect the cinema display via VGA and that appears to be impossible. So I just wanted to clarify before I purchase the new laptop

I have a VGA cabled second monitor with a Mini Display adapter connecting it to my iMac. There's always a away around these things but I think you should be fine from the off.

There are very few adapters for mac mini display to VGA. If memory serves the problem is converting the mac mini display to a female connection that will then connect to VGA

I did a lot of research on this, there was one adapter that cost 200 and apparently it didnt work properly.
