    28cent from today onwards for transactions unless you have 3k in account for the 1/4, should help towards the cost of the wage bill for BOI.
    But no doubt if it doesn’t they will bring in more charges or just take more tax payers money to keep going.

    Must go and see how many companies the Gov. has bailed out, ops NONE the banks have taken it all.

    24 STAFF at Bank of Ireland – which has received €4.7 billion in State aid – are paid basic salaries of over €400,000 a year, the finance minister Michael Noonan has revealed.

    Noonan told the Dáil this evening that 193 staff at the bank, were on basic salaries of over €150,000.

    Of those, 109 are on over €200,000 a year – the pay cap for civil servants – while 43 are on over €300,000 a year
