    Hi all at Eircom

    I have just moved 400m up the road from my old house - the old cable was physically moved to the new buidling

    I have been placed on a "home starter" pack at 1Mb - but we know (engineer tested line and it will support 3Mb)

    the call center cannot upgrade my speed back to 3Mb which we know it will support ("the computer sayes no")

    q1- is the a waiting period with a new line before it can be upgraded off the 1mb and properly tested (i.e. is there a soak test period before which nothing new can be done)
    q2 - can I expadite this and get back my 3Mb asap !!
