I'm looking to get new ones next year as the ones I have are over 5 years old now, last one I got was in Bonavox, I think I would be needing Widex type. At the moment they price range from €1,650 - €1,250

Why do you need "Widex type" ?

    Hi.
I need to get hearing aid for some body in india.
What is the usual price range. It is going to be a gift and I do not want to overspend.
The person has told me not to get 'chinese'.
    Kindly advise.
    I am based in Dublin.
    Many thanks

How bad is his hearing, what range can he hear at, do you have the documentation? Without having his hearing range, a hearing aid specialist can't determine what aid your friend can get, and also won't be able to adjust it accordingly.
