    Here's a sorry excuse of a letter I got from them regarding my letter to them enquiring about the poor quality broadband in Golden

    Its funny that their so incompetent that they cant get one of their customers last name right :rolleyes:

    I like the excuse of disruption to existing customers. You tell people that your upgrading the broadband in the area and they'll be a party in the street Willy and the Poorboys will be playin

    Headshot , i suffered major issues like this with eircom over the years,trust me its incredibly frustrating, at times words simply couldnt not describe just how angry and frustrated that they simply would not listen to me.

    It is absolutely shocking and disgraceful the lengths i had to go to for a resolution.

    They simply WOULD NOT listen to me that there was an issue.
    In 2010 in particular just shows how useless eircom can be.

    Engineers said there is no issue but only after i posted on here that one of the reps eventually helped me out and lo and behind there was an issue in an exchange connected to our one, i had ben telling them this for months.

    On both occasions it took 7+ months to get anywhere.

    Please people dont use eircom if you have a choice. Eircom are the only provider in my area unfortunately so at this moment in time im stuck with them but some day ill get the broadband I deserve like the brilliant company called UPC

    I do find it funny that some times I see the questions upc or eircom. Why anyone would even consider the awful broadband provider Eircom is beyond me

    Imagine in this day of age being stuck with either 1mb or 3mb broadband is disgraceful. Its embarrassing that this country thanks to the Eircom and the government  is one of the worse countries in Europe (possibly the world) for broadband 

    Why are we country folk being left behind when it comes to broadband.
