    I can get online no problem but the connection is ridiculous, it's like this all day, multiple sites hanging randomly.
    Usually it's rock solid but not today :-(

    its really pathetic as it is. Even so, the TV service works fine??? Hope its one off or I ll consider changing providers.

    In fairness to them I have very little downtime with UPC. Certinly less than any other provider I have had in the past.

    How do you get those speed tests?
    Are they 100% accurate?

    EDIT CUT CUT: solution only:
    after multilpe checks in vain, and after calling upc, the broadband was back to cisco, but not to private router;
    it turned out that after reviving connection the DNS HAS CHANGED what my router had't picked up automatically
    almost two days lost, had nice weekend

    Mine has been awful the last couple of days constantly disconnecting all the time, the speed is terrible. Did a speed test yesterday and got below 1 Mbps and now Speedtest.net won't even load

    Speed down about 70% here in Portmarnock, for me anyway.

    Seeing warnings in the events logs of the modem, not sure what they are, but look like disconnects. Will be onto UPC tomorrow
