Increase in speeds on Rural Exchange

    Hi,

    We were paying for 7 meg from Eircom on a bog standard rural exchange

    Today the router is showing 19846/765 for download and upload syncs.

    I'm downloading at around 1.2MB/sec

    So the exchange is upgraded to ASDL2+ according to the router, does anyone know if we should be able to recieve the full 20MB speeds or what adsl2+ packages are available, thanks

    You must be within 500m so if you move the house a tad...sure. :)

    Only downloading @1.2MB/s though! Should be alot higher, maybe there testing stuff

    Edit: Probably need a different router, the silver netopia is the one we have at the moment

    didnt you complain for years to get that exchange some decent backhaul
