    I would not consider 2 doors covered & 1 PiR an adequate alarm anyway.

    devil is in the detail

    UK - single storey house £99 + 3 year contract at £21.49 (total circa €1100)
    UK - 2 storey house £149 + 3 year min contract at 21.49 (total circa €1180)

    Ireland - 499 installation + 19.95 per month min 12 month contract. Total minimum payment 738.40 - if continued for extra 2 years (to be identical to uk) €1217.20

    Ireland vat = 23%, UK vat = 20%
    so after vat difference, the total over 3 years (minimum UK term to avail of special offer) is less than a tenner in difference at todays exchange rates - that may be a tenner cheaper next week.
