Tablet for Child Xmas present

    Hoping for Santa to bring a tablet for and 9 1/2 yr old girl who needs it mainly for games and taking pictures,wifi internet access, seen this BB for E179 reduced from E319, I know this is alot for a child but Xmas and she really wants a tablet but if there is similar that will do the same job for cheaper then Xmas will be even better,I know this is restricted to BB amps,would Android be the way to go if possible

    A mate got two of these the other day for his kids. Its a nice piece of kit with a large 64gb storage capacity but I would be careful giving it to a child as it would appear to be quite susceptable to damage if not properly looked after.

    The above link to a review does mention a week battery and lack of apps compared to an Android based Tablet.

    I'm also buying a Tablet but its for a 14 year old and in his case I'm going with the 32gb Google Nexus 7 which is flying off the shelves at €239

    After much research and discovering how fast things are selling out before christmas ..

    I got the young lad a Kindle Fire HD and a fairly thick case.

    206 euro with free postage

    Castle have a read it this for guide lines on it.
