It would be nicer if it was specced with a nicer colour combination. Doesn't do it any favours.

No, it would look naff with roof racks and you'd never get a kayak into the boot.

How about a nice Octavia lift back?

Agree. A nice black would work well or a really good quality red with black leather would be more choice I reckon. Rare car over here especially with all those options and the fact that it's an Irish car from new.

F*ck you, you useless car mats

It has a nasty tendancy to slip up and jam the accelerator on. It did it this evening, coupled with a wisp of smoke from under the bonnet and a horrendous smell of clutch :mad::mad:

Good news for me is the biting point hasn't been affected, nor is it shuddering when taking off or jerkiness. Does it no good though. I'm still very cheesed at it happening all the same!!!

On another note, anyone see some chap with surveying equipment on the M3 on the bridge at blanch this evening circa 9? Looked like he was masquerading as a speed detector!

I'd buy that 159 just wouldn't spend 14k. Think the colour is very nice too

Looking at car rental for our trip to Florida later in the year.

$1100 for a Chevy Camaro SS for 2 weeks. TEMPTED!

Is it much bother to insure yourself on that, or how does that work? Also any chance of a pic of the Camaro? :)

    Do it!

I loved driving the Charger I rented over there, even though it wasn't the top of the line engine wise, it was still nice to have it out on the Highways. The Camaro would be even nicer, but be aware, the visibility out of them is surprisingly bad! :)

You pay for insurance as part of the rental price, so it's all sorted from the word go.

Don't have an image of the exact car, but would likely look something like this.

    2013-chevrolet-camaro-convertible-front-right-gray-623x389.jpg

    Ah right, cool.

Ah that's pretty sweet, but I personally would prefer the older model.

But that one isn't bad either. :)

Rental companies don't tend to carry 40 year old models :p

    Aw... :(

EDIT: Never been out of the country so forgive my ignorance. :P Apart from when I went to Spain, but I was only 9 months old so I can't remember it.

Found a heavy chain on top of my kitchen unit last night whilst changing a spotlight (rented apartment) and cleaned it up - it's not everyday something like this happens but it turned out to be 10K gold and worth €430! - Time for new alloys please! :D

Does anyone know why the Dunboyne bypass has a continous white line for its full length? Heading towards Maynooth from the M3 theres a straight downhills section after the hump with no reason that I can see to not have a broken white line. Ive been stuck behind some real Sunday drivers on this section and it can be a right pain.

    Cheers.
