Thanks 166 but 325 is the slowest ill go for e46. It looks nice though :) I'd rather a 330i too I think :D

    No just the outside:p

I'd be very dubious of the milage on that. Look at the steering wheel. Mine has over twice the milage and isn't anywhere near that bad.

Also reg is 04-D-24181 if anyone is having trouble reading it.

Around town I'd say it's a pig on fuel alright. Price is quite low alright, guess that's why it's tempting, it has already supposedly had a price drop though..

Am I right in thinking it's a regular 320i that has had the aftermarket kit fitted?

Given I'd spend about €60 on the alfa on a 30km commute into the city each day, I reckon the fuel cost is at least that, I might well be wrong though.

Even for a "fake" M Sport that doesn't sound realistic!.........

M sport has no effect on economy, it's not a fake M3 :pac:

    €50 at €1.60/litre at 25mpg goes 170 miles :)

Not too unrealistic to be fair.

DUH I was thinking M3/M5! Thank you for the correction.

Ignore my last post, it would be around the same as the alfa then, same size engine.

I got muddled thinking of M3 vs M Sport :)

My car has twice the mileage of that BM, and the steering wheel is in about that state, probably slightly less worn, so I'd agree with you there :)

Very low mileage for a 9 year old car.

It's nearly bloody impossible to tell from the photos tbh. They're about as obscure and concealing as you can get away with.

Has the bumper(s?), seats, steering wheel, alloys.

From what I can tell from the shíte interior photo, there's no anthracite headlining which would mean it's a stock 320i with a bodykit. It's the one thing everyone forgets to change :D

Stupid question anthracite headlining is a strip of silvery/grey stuff halfway down the dash/on the doors?

Those bloody VWs are hideous cars, they always have been and they always will be.

If you want something old and boxy get an old Chaser or an old Celica. Decent engined RWD sports cars that fall under classic insurance.
**** the ****ing farmer cars, don't be a bleedin' felter!

I don't know why I feel so strongly about this. Hahaha

Edit: Seem to have missed a page there...

Nope, it's the fabric on the "ceiling" of the car.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,930 ✭✭✭✭challengemaster

Anthracite headlining means the entire headlining (roof fabric), from beside the windscreen, sun visors, pillars etc are all black

I've got some Bugatti gloves. May be more fitting, considering the forum :D

I never knew Cian was racist.

Having driven older VWs seriously bad choice for a windup

Work away, chap. Looks clean. :pac:

    But really, buy this instead!

If it's gonna be old and broken, it might as well be fun!

Edit: I now want an old Toyota.

My dad used to have one just like that back in the day. I don't remember but he used to bomb around in it with me in a child seat

I don't like the Avensis (as much :pac:) but really think the vw could be nice. I know that that one is rotten looking but I think it has potential. The panels look straight ( I know it's hard to tell through the dirt) and with the paint corrected as much as possible, those wheels cleaned up and much lower it would look good. And for some reason I just like high milers

No matter how clean or low they are, I'm just not into them.

If it's gotta be euro, why not an E30?
Sure it'll cost more but at least it wont be ****. :p

**** it, save a few bob on the car and pay a bit more on the insurance.
What's a few hundred quid over the whole year?

More fun is always better than more money.
