    Thanks for that guys.

Its an Audi A6. I just can't get my head around how bad that rust has gotten in such a short space of time. I would imagine it doesn't get any better underneath the car.
That doesn't even look repaired. Just sprayed!

Bloody hell that's bad. Have you a link to the ad?

    Is she a swimmer?

    Sorry? :o

I'll take a stab, does swimmer refer to a UK import?

Two weeks in the Cherokee now, happy out. I do however miss the auto dimming rear view mirror, auto wipers and the climate control from the ZT, and the manual parking sensor in the Jeep isn't quite as good as the system in the MG.

Its still a UK car actually.

    I guess the search continues.

I see micks garage have a load of offers on champion engine oil I wonder what it's like. 25 euro for 4 litres of 5w30 fully synthetic which meets ford standards seems reasonable. They have a huge range for different makes specs such as vw, ford, Opel.

Same crowd that make the spark plugs?

If it's to spec I wouldn't hesitate using it tbh :)

It seems decent enough just serviced my car last week so won't need oil for a while but the next time I need some I might keep it in mind. I normally use castrol but as you said if it meets the specs that the main thing. The last time halfords had the 20 euro castrol oil sale on we bought a good bit of oil all gone now though. Last drum will be used at the weekend to service dads octavia that 10w40 though anyway.

Bastards with a fake bank draft, the ding over the wheel arch has got to be pretty noticeable, hope he has some luck.

I wouldn't leave somebody off with a ropey yoke I was selling for €500 to them if they paid me with a bank draft or cheque, until it cleared. I'm sure the selling price on the audi was a hell of a lot more than €500

There's a good piece about car servicing on fifth gear this week. Just showing a bit of changing oil and filters. Just having a look at it now.

Seems to always to be an oil offer in Halfords. Got half price Mobil a few weeks ago

Slightly perplexed by that myself. Perhaps it's because we reliably deliver both companions..... also with two in the car, you can take the focus off the driving. :D

Maybe at 17 when you're the only lad in school with a car, if I were you I'd stick to the GTI though. :p
