Depending on the turnout and the weather on the day it might be very busy around there.... If it is I suppose we could go up to the big car park at the pool?

yup, the very same as last time when the wasps attacked gollywog!

South Dublin would obviously be great for me but I vote Wicklow just for fairness. It's in the middle and all that.

I've a competition on the 24th (I think, if that's the Saturday) so that's be a no go for me. Other than that, Mondays and Wednesday all day and morning/mid day for Friday.

I would say Brittas Bay but you have to pay for the car park :(

Up by Glendalough could be good, nice roads, nice scenery, very close to my house etc etc :p:)

100k to Courtown or 50k to Glendalough. Easy choice. :D
Are all car parks paid at Brittas Bay?
I seem to remember going to one with no facilities and there was no gate/person to pay.

Kiliney hill has a grand car park and if people like to walk, there are some serious views from the top in in Dalky Quarry.

I depressurised the system fully and it still decided to splash straight into my face from the injector rail!!!

Got diesel in the eye too, not nice :(

Speakin of the car, the subframe is almost ready to drop down, engine out soon hopefully :)

I'm sure it is very sore, Being eye disabled (
    I wear glasses
) I manage to avoid a lot of eye related injury :)

What car are you working on?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,985 ✭✭✭✭dgt

I know, you were at the meet :)

On the blue 156, I've had to sit in for a bit after twisting my arm..... Bag of coal went to go fall.... I caught it wrong.... And my eye incident :(

After I eat again I'm out to rip more off it :p

Today I saw a 131-D Porsche Cayenne; can't be too many of those in the country. Nice light coloured (tan) interior; can't stand all the grey interiored ones.

Feel really bad for the person who owns a gorgeous modified pug 106 who parked in the same car park as me as some numpty decided to break off the wipers and try to remove the spoiler. I'm surprised they didn't rob it

Ah yeah, typical!!! I got the driver's side of the car fully corrected today, sealed and waxed. The plan was to do at least the bonnet, roof and bootlid tomorrow but wouldn't you know....RAIN

They say it's going to be showery so I'm hoping to still get it done!

Do you also use your DA to wax ?

Nope, I have always applied wax by hand and since the Collinite is the only wax I use now, it has to be applied by hand because it's in a tin.

I feel the pain, I was dismantling the 156 and..... Pissed down on top of me. I felt like a hobo with a sheet of cardboard over my legs in a vain attempt to keep relatively dry!
