Its not about averages, its about being the best. And he was the best at a time when the game featured greats like Wilson, Lowe, Whitcombe, George and Anderson. Yes, Deller won a title, but in recent years Kirk Shephard came from nowhere to within one game of doing so. As for throwing today, he did get dartitis.

usually is the 'if you love the darts' bit, but think it was 'stand up if you're in the stands' as it was all the people in top section that were standing
