If MVG settles early then it could be a cracker but I have a feeling that Taylor could be 5-1 up before Van Gerwen realises what has happened. How many times have we seen Taylor looking to be facing a real threat only for the match to be over at half time?
With the exception of 2007 when he took his foot off the pedal and then bottled under pressure from Barney's comeback he only times he's lost finals are when his opponents have scored with him AND finished everything below 170.
I'm hoping it's a good game and I'm sure we'll see good darts but I won't be surprised if it's a fairly one sided affair.

On a footnote, I don't care about Taylors personality. He's the greatest darts player ever and the greatest there probably ever will be. I love watching him in full flight. He's like watching a prime Tyson or Messi. If it was a personality contest Dennis Priestly and Wayne Mardle would have 10 titles apiece

Ive taken Taylor at 23/20 as much as I dont like him, too good to pass off. Will be happy to see the baldy dutchman beat him so will be happy either way!

meh, yeah love taylor in full flow myself and for all the super darting moments over the years, and if he hits form tonite i will probably begrudgingly end up in his camp again tonight. probably regrets his actions but he defo wont lose any sleep over it. Yeah you probably have to be a ruthless b****x to be world champion that many times.
