    Here are some photos of lightning crawlers under a cold front back in July. :)

    First I took some shots of the away-moving clusters, on the surface front.

    Then the real deal came in, the MCS on the cold front. "Dropped" quite nice crawlers. I've seen better in these parts, but I cant complain, given the fact that I was in spotter mode as always. :)
    Bolts were roughly 40-70km (25-45 miles) long. ;)

    I missed a lot of decent discharges, but that is the price you pay when you check you pictures when you should be shooting.
    On a side note: The storm season in these parts of Europe, was really phenomenal this year! We had a big number of supercells from April, all the way to the last one on November 2nd. :) Especially the MCS number was high in these parts too.

    I will finish off with a photo I took in May. I live on a small farm, and I took this photo on one of my grasslands. My house is the nearest one (SW from the photo center :) )
