Family PC, Some of the kids are teens with mild interest in gaming. Would be nice if they could play some games, would not need to be with super quality, once they can play its ok. Other than that, web browsing, loading music to iPhones, etc..

4. Can you use any parts from an old computer?

5. Do you need a monitor?

No

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future?

Not sure, its not a widescreen, but it should be fine.

6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Bluray/DVD drive

DVD Drive would be nice to have incase kids have CD's etc..

7. Are you willing to try overclocking?

8. How can you pay?

ASAP, in time for christmas.

I wouldn't recommend Blue Ray on a PC. There a plain and you'll need to buy extra software for 50-70 euro if you want to play BR movies on top of the player which is about €60. The DVD I included will play normal DvD's just fine.

Any reason for AMD over Intel in this situation? So far most of the builds on here I have seen were using Intel.

We may have a 1TB HD that can be reused in this system, can you suggest something that we could upgrade using the 60E, that would of bee spent here? Perhaps a graphics card?

I see now why you have gone with the AMD, because it has the integrated graphics. Where would the 60 euro be best spent in the case we already have a HD?

Intel would be better but, cost you more money. AMD trinity is perfect for your needs. Together with that MB, you could even add a dedicated GPU down the road if your kids wanted more power for newer AAA games.
I would say put the 60 towards an SSD but, with kids the SSD will fill up fast if it's not managed right. I didn't put an SSD in my sons PC for that reason. The PC is for a guy I work with, but I would have to agree on the SSD issue where kids are involved, perhaps the monitor would be a better place to put the money, I will discuss this with him.

With the APU (CPU + GPU) it seems that from that video over-clocking is possible / even recommended. Would that be possible with the motherboard that you have put in the bundle for me?

Silly point, but would there be an equivalent PSU with no lights?
