You know... a lot of the quizzes on Sporcle are very similar to questions they use on Pointless.

Pointless Celebrities looks more decent than usual tomorrow at 6 ...
Ali Campbell, Mike Rutherford, Keren Woodward, Sara Dallin, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, Sandie Shaw and Sheila Ferguson try to find the least popular correct answers to questions asked to members of the public, hoping to win a jackpot sum for charity

    Read more at http://www.tvguide.co.uk/detail.asp?id=14221294#fUAupXXo8MBUbJ8M.99

UB40, Genesis, Fives, Bananaramas, One of the Three Degrees and Sandie Shaw.

You could make some decent Pointless Questions from that lot.

I was thinking Home & Away actors who have gone on to US success. Could be a picture round.

They had a flags round months ago where they showed pictures of 20 flags and they had to name the least known ones. Thought it was a brilliant round. Some of the best ones are the rounds that have people racking their brains trying to think of something they might be able to work out. The name an element from the periodic table was very enjoyable round too.

I'd love to have a lash off making some Geography/Astronomy rounds.
Show the outlines of 6 countries in silouettes, some obvious, some tough but solvable.
Show a world map and indicate the locations of 6 world capitals numbered 1-6.
    Do national flags again.
    Members of the G20.
    Countries in (Africa/Asia/South America).
Cities in (Pick a well known country) with populations over x million.
6 countries listed, match the most spoken languages of each.
Picturesa of landmarks/buildings from (Pick a country).

    Astromomy:
Show 6 of the most well known constellations.
Name any human who has gone to space (Achieved orbit).

Got pointless answers for the Man Utd question, and did OK until the final round.

Will they ever pick Irish Geography :(

Tuesday morning. Leaving the house at 3am for a 7am flight to London. Train into London and out to Elstree for 12.30.

How many shows do they do in a day do you know?

Haven't been on here much recently, kids and life, etc!

Two in the afternoon, one more in the evening.

I would be interested in knowing how long in real time an edited 45 min show is.
