Hi guys. A lurker here. I never get to watch Pointless anymore so I just watch this thread instead! :-D

I have an idea though and I reckon you fits would be the best ones to ask. We're trying to come up with event ideas for s society I'm in and one of them, which we're really enthusiastic about, is a pointless style thing - probably a table quiz but with the aim of getting pointless answers. Do you reckon that it would be possible and how would we go about it? Particularly when it comes to questions!

You could nick your questions from Sporcle.com.

Not sure how you'd go about getting scores for them, other than randomly asking 100 people.

Yea I was thinking that but it's a lot of effort for a table quiz!

I take it that there's no back of pointless qs anywhere?

I don't know but there's lots of old episodes on youtube if that's any help.

There's a Pointless board game and card game. I got the card game in M&S on Grafton Street in October.

There is a list of the pointless answers from selected shows from series 2 to 5 here http://www.tv.com/shows/pointless/trivia/

I was wondering about Richard's laptop the other day when he had to go and get a new question on sheets of paper.

I thought that he did it for show otherwise they could have edited it out.

Was it just me or did your one Jo seem very bossy, your man seemed to have no say in what answers they went for.
