    Didn't some German guy go crazy at the Olympics with his celebration by running around the entire stadium, even attempting the hurdles? Oliver somebody?

    EDIT: Same guy that nerdlingr is thinking of...tore his shirt off.

    I looked it up there. It was the discus. Robert Harting.
    Think he got p*ssed one night and got locked out of the compound. Was robbed on the tube as well I think.

    *yeah, it was discus alright.

    The question is a bit vague

    Not sure if they want 'Athletics' or 'Javelin' as an answer.

    Sack the question setter (oh, I forgot - they already did!)

    Henner Henkel was killed in WWII during the battle of Stallingrad. That's why I remembered the name.

    Curse the one person who knew Adrian Sutil... :(

    Curse the three who knew Timo Glock, too. They must have been Lewis Hamilton fans.

    Surprised that Nick Heidfeld was pointless, even though he was one of the most unspectacular F1 drivers ever. Equally surprised that Heinz-Harald Frentzen was pointless as well, given how much he shaped Damon Hill's career...

    Remember on TMi when they'd ask a guest if they could open a jar of something with their "bare hands" and then make them wear bear hands to try and open it. Hilarious :D

    I'll stop now.

    I wonder what the University Challenge questions will be?

    - Any College which has won the show in its history

    - Any Actor credited in the film Starter For Ten

    - Er ... anyone who competed in Celebrity University Challenge in 2012

    Hard to think of many other suitable questions

    I came in here expecting a bandwagon bemoaning Wendy. I am very disappoint guys :(

    Got my boom with Nick Heidfeld though so I mustn't grumble!

    I presume most people would get Manchester, which has dominated the show in the last few years.

    I would not expect Magdalen Oxford, Imperial or the Open University to be pointless either, or Corpus Christi Oxford...

    <RANT>

    ...whose 2004/5 team didn't have any ladies at all, let alone seriously clever ones, and thus the press didn't look upon them with hostile jealousy and call for them to be disqualified.

    </RANT>

    Speaking of Gail Trimble, she obviously likes life at Oxford, as she's now a lecturer and tutor at Trinity College. :)

    Queen's Belfast might be pointless; Churchill Cambridge and Fitzwilliam Cambridge certainly would be.

    Easy wrong answers to give would include Edinburgh (which has appeared in almost every series during Paxman's tenure, but hasn't even reached the final) and UCL (which has lost two finals in Paxo's time, and of course has had a team captained by the legendary Jamie Karran):

    :D;)

    He was. He's was a bit cringeworthy to watch though, attempting surreal links and whatnot. So thats UC, Pointless and Only Connect for him.

    There's serious cross pollination in the TV Quiz shows though, the same faces popping up everywhere:

    Mark Labbett has to be one of the most prodigious though - The Chase UK + US (as Chaser), Are You an Egghead?, Mastermind, University Challenge, 15 to 1, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (twice, winning £32,000 and £16,000), runner-up on The People's Quiz, runner-up on Brain of Britain (BBC radio 4).

    I think he likes quizzes.:p

    Sophie looking good again... ;););)

    She and her mum should be the favourites today after reaching the head-to-head yesterday.

    But then, Enfys and Siôn were the overwhelming favourites yesterday and crashed out in round 2, despite hardly setting a foot wrong...
