Tuesday: Enfys and Siôn easily reach the head-to-head, but lose 2-1 when they could, and probably should, have won the third question.

Wednesday: They start as favourites but, despite doing very little wrong, crash out in round 2.

Meanwhile, Sophie and Wendy easily reach the head-to-head, but lose 2-1 when they could, and probably should, have won the third question.

But while Enfys, Siôn, Sophie and Wendy were all likeable, Anna and Alex are not. Anna in particular - there really is only so much that can be taken of her untidy hair, crossed arms, punching gestures and awkward, spur-of-the-moment hugs...

Also, she and Alex didn't stand a chance on the third question, thanks to Nigel and Gary's brilliant knowledge of Gabriela and Monica Irimia.
