I am shocked Tally Ho! isn't the name of a town.

I was very pleased when the Westward Ho! question came up - but I was very annoyed when so many people knew the answer

Then I had a revelation - I'm a feckin' Trivia hipster - I'm only interested in obscure facts until they become more popular and mainstream.

I need to sort myself out :(

Brett Anderson from Suede still has his hair like Jak's...Hiyo!

    Mary Robinson!

    Non-Irish Boom!

7 points for Mary Robinson - she has to be pleased with that - in the past, a picture of Mary McAleese was recognised by no-one in the Pointless Survey

the picture was of Mary McAleese and not only did none of the contestants know who she was, but it was a pointless answer.

Mary R beating Mary Mc 7-0 - possibly helped by having the first episode of Moone Boy based around her Election, you can't buy that kind of publicity.

    Moon Boom!

Yeah, Bowie's Moon Boy was a good answer, ahem.

Sadly, they have ruined any possibility of an unlikely third Moone Boy reference by not going for Popular Irish Music :(

I think they forgot there was a date on the Head of States...

Surprised Goodluck Jonathan was pointless, I'd have thought everyone knew that name.

Democratic Republic of Congo is the new Central African Republic.

I thought the anagram question was rather unfair though as
    Suriname
was the obvious lowest scorer by a mile before the options were even given. Surely something like
    Guyana
could've been used too for some element of competition?

On an unrelated note I really want a full-blown question on "A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones" soon. Surely it's wormed its way into being valid by now. For the night would be dark and full of pointless answers :D

This is the 3rd week of new episodes I think. The best 2 ways to know is whether the final round is the new format or you can spot Xander's hair :pac:

I don't think Indian Wells is a city. And he's never won it. ;)

    It's a city but you're right- he's never won it. :)

I had Cincinnati ... answers which are difficult to spell always score lowly. That theory almost worked for Anne Keothavong too.

Arguably, Tim Henman knocked himself out of Wimbledon when this happened ...

First player ever to be disqualified from Wimbledon.

As the song says, He's a rebel and he'll never ever be, any good :D

I stand corrected! It is a city, with a population of 5,000. I guess size doesn't matter in the US.

I can imagine most people thought he raced in Formula 1?
there's a Sebastian Vettel and a Romain Grosjean in Formula One. Kinda weird.

Speaking of mixed up names, anyone spot the former BBC News reader?
