Is there a celebrity episode tomorrow?

Ooooh, I just checked and yes there is.

    18:15 BBC1

"Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman present an edition of the game show featuring contestants from period dramas. They are Colin Baker and Simon Williams, Helen George and Pam Ferris, Martin Jarvis and Nerys Hughes, and Matthew Kelly and Christopher Timothy"

Do they pick nobodies on purpose so that calling it "Pointless Celebrities" has double meaning?

I certainly wouldn't call Colin Baker, Pam Ferris, Martin Jarvis and Matthew Kelly nobodies... :o:o:D:);)

If you gave 100 people 100 seconds to identify photos of them how many pointless answers would there be?

God, that was a terrible show for me. Knew nothing but the most obvious answers for the Jacksons. Knew nothing about fashion, or soccer, and I hate anagrams. Even the film one which is usually my forte I was only able to name the three obvious ones (should have known Tatum, but I just didn't recognise him). And then they didn't even pick Irish Geography.

Well, I'd like to think that Colin and Matthew would each be identified by at least one person...

And even if none of the four were identified by anyone, that still doesn't make them nobodies. :);)

After all, Colin was the Unlucky Doctor, and "Tonight, Matthew, I'm going to be..." is still a fairly common catchphrase... ;)

They usually bring back final round topics that aren't picked so I'm guessing we'll see Irish Geography again. What would the three questions be?

Counties, cities, county towns, something like that maybe?

Must remember to look at the periodic table...which is what I said the last time it was a category!

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 23,931 Mod ✭✭✭✭TICKLE_ME_ELMO

    Gold for four letter element.

Americium for one with "c" in it.

And that's one for all, me thinks.

I'm annoyed that they're not making them specify which category they're naming for. They're just throwing out any old word.

    Wild guesses....

    C - Denise van Outen
    D - Cheryl Cole

EDIT: the minute I posted that I realised van Outen is clearly from London.
