Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Jesus RDM has some balls putting out that team. Taking a big risk, if it doesn't work he will be absolutley slated! If it does work will this spell the end for Torres starting?

It would be risky playing this team and formation against a decent team but to do it against Juventus is a bit mad.

Hope RDM had the players well prepared for this all week.

Regardless of how this turns out for Chelsea, I think this is absolutely crazy stuff from RDM, why would he take such a risk? Really can't get my head around this

352....set up for a draw. RDM is playing the percentages. Proper order.

We are the Champions don't forget.

We shouldn't be running scared either, a win could put us in a good contention to win the group and avoid someone like Barca.

Vidal is key, stop him and we'll be doing well, hopefully Ramires can do a number on him.

With the money we've spent on attacking players, I find it really disappointing that we arent going for this game, what happens if we concede early ?

Gutsy move by RDM - could be inspired
    Apparently 5 at the back?!

Dropping Torres means more energy and movement to keep Juve defence occupied

Have to feel for Torres though - what a slap in the face!
No, wait, if had actually scored a few more goals we wouldnt be in this position maybe

Great save...bit of luck, shocking at the back again.

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 7,146 Mod ✭✭✭✭pistolpetes11

That was very easy for juve , but cracking save from Cech

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,493 ✭✭✭DazMarz

Ropey at the back already... Jesus.

The Juve back 3 will also have no problem bossing our Holy Trio. Physically anyway.

This could get very ugly very quickly.

Juve getting in way too easy.

    So close.....what a run

  • Moderators, Music Moderators Posts: 4,726 Mod ✭✭✭✭Gonzovision

Torres would have scored that :pac:

    Spoke too soon???

What a run. Deserved a goal.

Shouted the house down for that one... the realised it was into the side netting and not the bottom corner... f*ck...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,398 ✭✭✭McDave

Pure genius. Oscar and Hazard vindicating RDM's choice. After a strong start, Juve will need to be very careful. Chelsea set-up is designed to score on the break.

Hate the should have bet more reflection. I remember in the City Liverpool game this season I threw 1 euro on Skrtel at 33/1.

Two brilliant saves from Cech now.

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 7,146 Mod ✭✭✭✭pistolpetes11

Cech again , great move from Juve , again was a bit easy for Juve

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,493 ✭✭✭DazMarz

Only for Cech, it'd be 2-0 already. Animal save just there. Shocking defending at times.

It's a mobile team with no passengers, and a chance for some players to stake their future claims.

Offside but Cech again had us covered

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,398 ✭✭✭McDave

Cech on the ball again regardless of the offside.

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 7,146 Mod ✭✭✭✭pistolpetes11

High ball from Cech to Hazzard is not working , need the ball on the deck

Chelsea look so so bad and out of sorts - its like the last seasons backs to the wall defending

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,398 ✭✭✭McDave

Good defending there. Quick to swarm back after the attack broke down.

Juve are working hard for some decent opportunities. But they're not running rings around us. Around the half hour mark they're going to start getting anxious if they haven't scored.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,493 ✭✭✭DazMarz

Juve just flying forward... Relentless. It's like lashing kicks into a rotting wooden door; sooner or later, it'll cave in.

It's been a very long 10 minutes since Hazard's excellent chance.
