    I've got a load of old camcorder tapes that I want to save to my harddrive. There is AV out put from the camcorder so I`m hoping to play the tapes from the camcorder and record on my PC.
    Can anyone recommend a video capture card to do this ??
    (€100 ish ?? for a price ??)

    Keep and eye out for Aldi and Lidl specials, they frequently have cables and things for this purpose. :) Not what you are looking for specifically I know but something to consider.

    there are loads of usb av capture cards that cost €10 - €20
    I have never used any so I have no idea if they are any good but you should check them out.
