When the father logged in to the website on a laptop i could not understand how the gardai would not have already found that. The phone and charlie was contrived and convoluted, how the phone got lost under a bunch of mail

All I can say is I hope it's not a true reflection of the work the Gardaí do because if so it would leave you with little or no faith in them. Horrible show usually these things get better as you watch it more but this gets worse. For those who haven't seen the final episode do yourself a favour and go for a walk when it's on later because I guarantee you will regret watching.

Last nights episode was a complete waste, way too much going over old scenes. Very hard to feel sorry for or even like any of the characters. Hoping for a decent realistic finale tonight!

Yes I'd agree it was the partner.
Or it was the Da. He persuaded Amber to go undercover in order to get a load of money together to prop up his ailing business.
Or the partner is really Amber's Dad.

Ah Here!!!! I need to know the ending, this program is seriously depressing the life out of me!! I think it was the brother haha! Or That guy in the da's office.... Or maybe its basically how one thing like losing your phone, missing your stop and getting off at the next one can cause a chain of reactions. Like fall down a well.... argh!!! someone tell me the ending!!!! No doubt i'll be asleep by the end!!

I thought that bit at the Garda Checkpoint was ridiculous as well. They'd be after you like a shot if you did that.

I agree that Amber isn't a particularly likeable character, but she is quite believable as a pampered Dundrum teenager whose Dad drives a jeep and whose mum looks like someone off a Nescafe ad. Her phone message was cringey.

The kid was approached in the street by a Hollywood agent. She decides her parents are such losers that she goes to LA on the first flight out of Heathrow.
After a promising start in pilot season...she winds up doing leprechaun lesbian porn and running a vegan butchers shop on the side.
She returns in season two for The Gathering as a role model for how to succeed in Hollywood without a Green card. In season three she marries Justin Bieber but then finds the Secret Room. To be continued.

i think i'm gonna hate the end to this one! but even tho i'm not enjoying it i have to see what happens. And i'm praying we find out what happened amber or i may just lose the plot. But I think the whole story line is showing how people cope when someone goes missing. And the fact they may never know what happened her and how life goes on..... but actually hope its not that cos i wanna know what happened her!!! I may end up smashing my telly later. :mad:

Well, in a nutshell,

Children in buggies are in training for the Olympic Shot Put;
Chinese lads are big in heart, bad in running and
Irish Drama writers are not in the running for the Oscar "Script Writer of the Year" (whichever year it was....or will be...)

That explains it. I was down the supermarket today and there was a man handing out flyers saying "Please help rescue Amber".. It's only now I realise he was one of the writers..
