    Hi all,

nearing purchase of a house and unexpected news that exising conservatory has to come down

We want to rebuild a permanent extension to make house watertight and willl have to source windows / doors as cheaply as possible.

Does anyone know of a good company in Munster (or nationwide that do delivery) that may sell excess stock of PVC windows and doors (e.g incorrect orders,. cancelled order stock) etc?

We would need French doors (open out) and as large glass windows as possible to cover approx 10ft each side. Ideally all colours would match ;)

Current shape is angled 'U' upside down (If that makes sense) so ideally an 8ft window, thinner glass panel on turn, French door, thinner glass panel on turn, then 8ft window again.

NOT easy on a very tight budget - all help appreciated!

Most Window companies will have a stock of items that were incorrect size etc etc so you should contact anyone in your locallity or call into their offices.

One word of caution however, given the conservatory has to come down, is to be careful and not make the same mistake that might have been made in the origial purchase of the conservatory. Windows and Doors should be properly sized, manufactered and installed in irder to prevent problems. this costs money and to simply choose the cheapest is NEVER in my experience the right thing to do.

Thanks Keith - yes, we'll be ringing around and visiting a few places. Just got word that Munster Joinery have a seconds department too so thats hopeful.

The one thats coming down - crikey, nearly a blessing in disguise (but one we could certainly do without). Wooden frame, glass panels, everything pretty much held together with silcone and right now, well, its like a game of pots, pans and mastik guns keeping rain water out. Complete Disaster

munster joinery would have a lot of wrongly sized stock it would not be seconds so quality would be fine prices a1 as well

Thanks guys - was onto their seconds Dept so we're hoping to get over there sometime this week for a look and see. Hopefully they're open to a bit of bargaining! Thanks for all help, fingers crossed we'll have luck :)
