I've seen ginger beer, but never American root beer

But it looks like you can get it off Amazon.co.uk,

I've gone as far as the last page before clicking 'place your order' and it hasn't thrown up any errors regarding address

example I used was 'A&W Root Beer 355 ml (Pack of 12)'
    - including free postage (supersaver £25+) if you buy two packs, grand total being £32.02 for 24 cans

Only places in the city you could try would be
    - Bradley's on North Main Street
    - Maybe Dealz as they stock a lot of odd stuff normally only sold in the UK

That A&W Root Beer is definitely for sale in Cork, I can remember seeing it, just not where.

Get to Ennis, Barq's and A&W in Duffy's, Barq's has to be the king of Root Beers :)

They used have it in Dunnes out in Bishopstown anyway, it was a few months ago that I saw it there. It was Bundaberg brand.

There's a bagel place on Oliver Plunkett Street, or at least there was last time I worked in the city centre. I think it's called LA Bagels. They do a lot of US foods and beverages and I'm almost certain they do root beer.

That must be where I seen it, I usually do my weekly shop there.
The stuff tastes like TCP to me.
