    Ever been a mod?

Was a mod on a different site many moons ago. Sports streaming site.

Would you abuse your powers if you were in that position?

Was half-way up, it was too windy for them to have the top deck open.

Was that being mean or Health & Safety?

  • Registered Users Posts: 86 ✭✭pollyannawins

probably the latter but some people take a malicious pride in their work

why can't we all just get along?

Do to health and safety reasons I cannot answer that question. Not sure if that's for your safety or mine.

Who do you think would win a fight The Brain or Elmo?

    I don't

Do you think you lose an arguement when you bring up the Nazi party or Hitler. I mean did Hitler or the Nazi party ever come close to the level of evil of The Brain?

don't know what 'evil of the brain' is. should it come after the watershed?

do you not feel history should at least be thankful that it has ready examples of how social and political initiatives can go wrong so they don't recur?

Eh? give me back my life!

    How are you?

Sure no point complaining, nobody pays me any heed.

Do you ever get that feeling too?

Nah, 12 years (**** 13 this Month!) here I am like the bible of boards now, everyone is listening to every letter I type, get a bit paranoid that people can hear me type, but other than that I fell very much appricated at Boards.ie.

Do you feel that you made a good point when you get a lot of thanks on boards?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 71,799 ✭✭✭✭Ted_YNWA

I don't pay a lot of heed to the number of thanks I get. Occasionally have a look at the overall count (in the region of 7K i think)

I am a bit quick witted at times & they get a few thanks.

Do you follow any forums on here or just float around the site?

Just this thread haha and Broadcasting! Used to float around TV but every since the Big Bang Theory arguement I leave well alone 3 polls everyone seems to like that god damn show!

What you think of 2 and a Half Men finishing after 10 years!

Only had a passing interest when Sheen was in it, all but gave up watching when he left.

Was that the start of the downfall of the show?

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,742 ✭✭✭✭Wichita Lineman

A lot of US comedy shows get to run for much longer than they should. I don't think it was just Sheen's departure that causes the downswing.

Did you watch Charlie in Anger Management? Was it any good ?

No didn't get to see it, he couldn't be much worse than he was in 2 and Half Men. While many US Sitcoms run beyond the real lifespan, IMO 2 and a half men should never have really gone beyond the first episode.

    Would you not agree?

  • Registered Users Posts: 86 ✭✭pollyannawins

self indulgent yes, massive audience also: seems that the pure capitalism of the thing won through.

can you think of a better premise for a sitcom?
