    Has he considered getting better LEDs?

    ROBUS LEDs wouldn't be considered the créme de la créme by any stretch of the imagination!

    If he want's more light he should just look at getting some good 10W LED downlights - CFLs are just a step backwards.

    Just my 10c.

    I think its more a case of he and the wife are maybe pi55ed off at the ceiling looking like a lump of swiss cheese with regards to 15 downlights and downlight holes.

    They want away from downlights perhaps.

    Thats the feeling I got from him when we were chatting away the other day.
