Main gripes with Auctioneers

    Hey guys,

    I intend on getting back into the property market quite soon & I was just wondering what are the main gripes people have with Auctioneers/Valuers/Letting Agents/Surveyors in this country currently.

    From other threads/posts I can see there seems to be alot of dissatisfaction concerning the honesty of the agent, their work rate & overall level of customer service.

    Any detailed expansion on any the above or any other issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    I think the main thing to keep in mind is that they're working for the other party in a zero-sum game. You're the mark.

    Most tell you a series of fibs e.g.
    theres a bid in already,
    theres lots of viewings,
    the owner won't deal for less when in fact the owner might
