Room for rent in share house - Melbourne (Northern suburbs)

Hi all,

I have a room available for a short term renting between 3rd Dec and mid-Feb.

Location - Pascoe Vale South in the Northern Melbourne suburbs. Next to Brunswick and Coburg but a little cheaper. The no.55 tram runs outside the door - 20 minutes into the city. It is a 5 minute walk to buses and 1.5km from Coburg train station on the Upfield line.

The house - a large Art Deco era house. 3 bedrooms, one bathroom, laundry, living room, kitchen/dining room and sun room. Big rooms. Big yard with fruit trees and garden beds (want to plant a veggie patch?)

The PETS - Must be pet friendly. The house is home to 2 budgies and 2 free-range rabbits. The rabbits have access to the main living spaces but not the bedrooms. They are clean and easy to live with - see www.rabbit.org for more info on house rabbits. There is also one cat who spends most of his time outdoors.

The current housemates - you will be sharing with 2 females in their late 20s. One Irish and one Aussie. Full time workers. Vegan-friendly. Queer-friendly. Chilled out and positive.

What we'd like in a housemate - Someone who is not in Australia just to party. Someone who works, wants to make friends and have a drink, yes, but maybe someone a little older and more relaxed. Someone who likes pets! Someone who will clean up after themselves.

Rent is around $463 per month (negotiable) - bills not included and will be split 3 ways (including wifi internet).
