Recently bought a 1tb hard drive which came preformatted as FAT32 (I needed it to be NTFS) so I plugged her into my PC and proceded to change the format to NTFS (using Swissknife 3) > easy I thought, but the damned thing is now only reading as having 497 GB of free space on it! so how do I get the missing portion back?

Before I used the swissknife on the HDD it was reading as Volume info: 3863 (MB) used space, 949771 (MB) Free space, 953634 (MB) Capacity.

Any ideas for an easy fix?
