What is the best tablet for reading PDFs?

Also of consideration:
* ability to edit PDFs - so you come across an interesting part and want to add a note
* battery
* price
* open standards - would like to be able to throw a few movies / music on it without getting sucked into a pile of proprietary standards
* hdmi port

Galaxy Note 10.1 is a very good option if you are interested in doing hand written notes. The S-pen tech is far better than any stylus on a standard capacitive screen.

Thanks. Obviously the cheaper the better. Would that table be better than the nexus 7 or nexus 10?
