college referral?

hi can anyone tell me what i college referral is? i wasnt sure were to post this, but im falling behind in college and have exams in 2 weeks, my lecturer said i could try and get a refferal for the exams can any one tell me what that means?

Do you mean a 'deferral'. This would mean you do the exams at a later date with the agreement of the college. If you have a student advisor talk to them, if not speak to the lecturers of the subjects you are struggling with.
