All I'm hearing lately is pubs that will be shutting up shop as soon as Christmas is over. Looks like things are only going to get worse in 2013.

have to agree, looks like they are all set to drive the country over the tipping point in this looming budget, can see many places losing business with no loose change around for people to spend...

For the love of lord above. It doesn't make the blindest bit of a difference how much of a 'fact' it is in your eyes folks. That's not how this works. Unless its been confirmed on their official headed material (letter, poster, website, facebook) or was in the media - its unconfirmed. Simple. Don't post back saying 'Its not Speculation. Its Fact' unless you can back it up as above. How many times do we need to drill this message into folk? It seriously harms businesses when you speculate about their future and Boards has been threatened with legal action over such posts in the past.

Yes, it may be a fact. Yes, it may happen. But how do we know 100%? How do we know 100% your reliable source IS reliable? How do we know that your source is who you claim them to be? etc.

    This has to end now.

    Sorry, FYP.

I don't get why people give other people vouchers :confused: They are essentially money which you are restricted to using in a vertain number of shops. Cash is much better.

Because with vouchers the person is saying go out and get yourself a present, with money it might just end up being spent on bills etc.

    Also Xmas is perfectly valid!

I love getting vouchers, better than a present you might not use!
