Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fcuking balls to that. Overhit by Sterling. With the rain on the pitch thats unlucky.

    F*ck that....don't offer Sterling a new contract.:pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

Ah crap the one-two was a waste. Suarez should have gone himself. Bollox

Going to be one of those days it seems

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,627 ✭✭✭Lawrence1895

Why didn't Suarez just buried that one? Me nerves

What a horrible return pass from Sterling.

:( Sterling cost us a goal there.

    He'll learn :(

Only one man to beat before the keeper...we have seen him do it so many times before!

Gerrard's defensive awareness there, loses Ki twice in the space of three seconds. Not that he seems arsed about covering or picking up runners. Lucas really can't come back soon enough if for no other reason we have two defensively capable players in midfield rather than the one we have now.

Poor from sterling, but Suarez passed to him too early aiming for the one two rather than delaying and just putting him in on goal. Poor from both of them...

Sterling has been poor today unfortunately. I think he badly needs a rest at this stage!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Although it was poor, I do think that return pass from Sterling had a lot to do with the surface. Very wet pitch according to the commentators anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,473 ✭✭✭✭Super-Rush

Have Shelvey or Cole touched the ball yet?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,801 ✭✭✭PRAF

A few unforced errors from Raheen there. Looks tired. Take him off

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,202 ✭✭✭el dude

Again Gerrard in no rush to get back, better to walk than run.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,066 ✭✭✭Washington Irving

Swansea are going to score for sure. No doubt at all. I'd bet my house on it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,662 ✭✭✭Luckycharms_74

Allen the only fella tracking back. Gerrard was just walking back there

He was good in the first half in fairness. Maybe he should have come off instead of Henderson.

These changes from Rodgers have been bout as ineffectual as it gets.

Ki is a lovely player to watch

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 922 ✭✭✭MyBrokenKnees

I think they are afraid to do anything to upset Sterling till he signs his new contract..

Then he will be rested once he signs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Why do the team not show any urgency in the last few minutes?....'The Rodgers' really needs to work on that.

Really grew into the game after a while once he came on. Helped Swansea dominate a fair bit in this second half.

That's him, for a decent price as well.

It's such a lovely and entertaining match, we just got 4 minutes of top of it

'The Rodgers'? Is that a new phrase i've not heard of until now?

Let's just play next (first) goal wins. Unless Swansea score it. Then we'll take the draw.

    Unlucky from Shelvey...Gerrard take note!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,316 ✭✭✭kevohmsford

Great strike from Shelvey. He should have started the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

Shelvey has done more than Gerrard already.
    Maybe all season..

    Johnson ffs

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,662 ✭✭✭Luckycharms_74

Did cole touch the ball since he came on ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,414 ✭✭✭Lord Trollington

    Muck.

Rodgers seems to be more worried about not losing a game rather than going out taking a chance and winning.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,438 ✭✭✭livinginkorea

    That'S it 0-0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,508 ✭✭✭✭noodler

Johnson should be shot for his second half performance. Attacking-wise anyway.

This is so depressing. We can't take advantage of any fcuking slip-ups. If it isn't Wigan at home then the chances of an actual win are non-existant.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,627 ✭✭✭Lawrence1895

The final whistle was one of the best moments of the match, imo

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,404 ✭✭✭✭Vicxas

1 Point is better than 0. Still gutted we didnt have 3

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,902 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Very average game, cancelled each other out for the most part.

Such a contrast between Pool's good players and the passengers, not really much middle ground in the squad.

    Well done to the Swans.
