Dell Laptop freezing

    Hi Guys,

    I have a Dell Laptop which keeps freezing in the last while. It usually just freezes and becomes unresponsive and I have to kill it with the power button.

    All my drivers are up to date and it has the latest Windows Updates also with Win Vista Sp2 (32-bit).

    I know it is pretty vague but any pointers on how to fix this would be great.

    First thing to check is heat.

    Download speccy. Leave the laptop idle for 20mins, then read temps.

    Then run prime95 for half an hour and read the temps again.

    Then post them here.

    If it crashes mid prime, let us know that too.
