    ive a compitition tomarrow on a wide river.any ideas on tactics to use.its a lake ona river.

    sink n draw mini smelt and roach..cover as much water as you can is the trick

    Id deadbait on the inlet if possible and maybe wobble or spin close enough to it or put an alarm on it. If its wide as in flooded get as close to the normal run of it as possible and make sure your not fishing field. Best of luck pal
