eircom nat fail

    i turned on my ps3 after a week off there today and it wont connect to a wired nat type1 on pppoe like it always did. itll connect to nat type 3 perfectly everytime.

    i'm using eircom@eircom.net and broadband1 as the usual pppoe details and ive made no changes to firewalls, routers or hardware during the week it was off but it wont connect. anyone with the same problem or a fix?

    still doesnt work but would much prefer a wired connection. thanks anyway.

    check tthat the firewall is set to off on the modem

    its always been set to medium with no problems.

    try putting the firewall on low, restart the router, restart the ps3 and give it a shot
