    As an only child, I got a furby in the expectation that I could teach it to talk and I'd have someone other than my dogs to talk to, as my efforts at teaching them to talk proved fruitless. Was that just bollocks, or did anyone ever actually teach the furby to say anything other than neep?

    That might have been Tamagotchi? My sister got her one to live for 52 days. She was very smug. My brother danced on it. And killed it.
