Does anyone know how much the carbon tax is going to put on a bag of coal?

Too busy to pay attention to the budget despite having less hours at work?

Also, work is indeed a chore, and not just for politicians :-)

At least try and form some decent points other than "they get paid a lot so the budget sux1!1!1!1!1!1". During the idiotic FF giveaway budget years no one gave a damn what politicians in this country were paying themselves as long as their man in the Dail got the bypass built or got their mammy the medjical card.

I was busy. I do not need to explain myself to you as to what I was doing but I was busy.

Work is not a chore. For me it's a passion and I love what I do.

For many more people too their work is a passion. Politicians went into politics and nobody forced them to. Their work should be a passion to them and not a chore or a pain. Any leader/ worth their salt worth be leading by example.

I did not follow the budget so I did not say the budget sucked. I do not have anything to go on to say that. Nor did I say it sucked because they get paid so much.

It is hypocrital of the government to expect so many people who have decreasing incomes to meet extra financial demands when they are sitting comfy on their large pay packs. Any one in the political field worth their salt would be leading by example.

I do not know why some people turned a blind eye to what went on in the political field in the septic tiger years.

€ 2.50 mentioned by a coal merchant on Joe Duffy during the week. 50 cent on a bale of briquettes .

PS. Ebenezer Scrooge couldn't have surpassed this one !!!
