    Hi guys
    Hope someone can help.

I was due to move into a house tommorrow (Tuesday) and have just found out that the main tenant has decided she wants to stop renting out the house.
She doesn't live there and has told me that I can stay until the 2nd of January or else if she can find someone to take over the room for a month then she will give me my deposit back.

I don't know how likely it is that someone will want to rent a room for December.

Do I have any rights here?

    THANKU.

oh and if anyone wants a rooom in Galway for a month....

I would say there is a huge risk to you getting your deposit back from someone who no longer has a connection with the property.

    Avoid.
