Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Balayage - South William St.

Hey guys, thinking of going to get some Alexa Chung-style balayage in the ends of my hair next week. I've never had my hair dyed, so I don't want to go over the top, I just want something that I can easily grow out if I don't like it (my hair is just below my shoulders.)

I've heard that Style Club is good for balayage (I've only ever had haircuts from there, and they've always been good), but someone told me that Zeba is 50% off colouring on Mondays. Does anyone know if this is still the case? Anyone have any tips about balayage in Dublin?

I never coloured my hair before, until the beginning of this year. I balayaged/ombred/dip dyed/you-name-it my own hair and it turned out very well. I mentioned it in these previous threads:

Zeba is good for colours, go for it! But whatever you do, I wouldn't advise getting a cut with David... He is a new guy there, previously worked with TG, but he is just not great with the scissors. Had a cut with him in both salons (just my luck!) and was disappointed on both occasions. He seems to want to rush through the haircut and have you out and gone. He's also bad at blow drying and curls... I think that Alan B. in TG Clarendon Street is always brilliant at cuts, but if you want to try Zeba, I am not sure who to recommend... Hope your colour turns out fab x x x

Anthony at zeba is great for cuts. There is a girl there with blonde curly hair who's great for colours too
