Anyone up for constructing a Fulacht Fiadh?

This is something I've always wanted to do, build one of these medieval cooking systems, and test it on some real bacon! Anyone up for making a project of it up in the Dublin Mountains possibly over a weekend, it's the kind of idea I think could be integrated into a weekend of camping, few beers in the evening, campfire,…
