    Hi,

wondering if i could get some advice from seasoned PC builders.

I have ordered the Phantom NZXT 410 Mid tower GunMetal (Lovely Case)

I was on the website www.hardwareversand.de

I did a PC config on the website and picked the below for my Case.

My question is, will this all fit? Also i don't have €1,300 to spend.

Looking at the list below, could you suggest alternatives to the below?

    1. What is your budget? €700 - €800

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Photoshop, internet, media centre,

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

    5. Do you need a monitor? yes

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 1

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Basic CD/dvd player

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Yes

    8. How can you pay?Credit card/ Paypal

    9. When are you purchasing? 1-2 months

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? Kildare

Hi, a lot of what you selected is pretty good but might be overkill for what you'll use it for.

    Here is what I did

    Item|Price
    2 x 8GB-Kit G.Skill PC3-10667U CL9|€56.68
    Seagate Barracuda 7200 2000GB, SATA 6Gb/s|€89.24
    Super-Flower Amazon 80Plus 550W|€54.03
    Intel Core i5-3570K Box, LGA1155|€209.08
    ASRock Z77 Pro3, Sockel 1155, ATX|€87.14
    Dell UltraSharp U2312HM|€199.00
    SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7770 1GB GDDR5 PCI-E HDMI / DVI-I / DUAL MINI DP (Lite Retail)|€112.34
    Shipping|€18.99
    Total|€826.50

Your CPU is one of the most recomended but the motherboard was way more than what you need (unless you had a reasone for it) so I picked that one. I changed the ram to slightly cheaper ram saving €14 but16gb might be overkill anyway. for the sake of €14 you might be just as well off with the ram you picked.
The PSU was more than you needed so popped in the highly recommended super flower 550w, knocking a few squid off.
You could probably save a few bills on the cpu cooler too but I havn't speced one as Im not sure what is good.
I am pretty sure the biggest saving for you will be in the graphics card department if this is not a PC for gaming. I did not select one though as again I am not sure what photoshop would require but I'd say you could probably be looking at somethin like a 7770 for €110ish or 7850 for €160ish. again these might be overkill too. Hard drive is grand and if you want an SSD the one you had is a good brand.
Lastly a monitor. Probably pretty important if your doing a lot of photoshop but I dont know anything about them. sorry.

EDIT: so I dropped in a 7770 and what I think is a recommended monitor around here. Again the problem is there is no SSD which may make a bigger difference to you then the extra 8gb or ram or that CPU or GPU or monitor ect...

    Item|Price
AMD FX-8350 Prozessor, Boxed, Sockel AM3+|€186.42
    ASRock 970 Extreme3, AM3+, ATX|€72.44
    2 x 8GB-Kit G.Skill Ares PC3-12800U CL9-9-9-24|€71.04
    Samsung SSD 830 64GB SATA 6GB's Basic|€59.99
    Seagate Barracuda Spinpoint HD103SJ 1TB SATA II|€68.38
be quiet! PURE POWER CM BQT L8-CM-430W|€56.61

    Samsung SH-222BB schwarz|€18.26
    Shipping|€18.99
    Total|€751.13

That's without a GPU. The FX 8350 is a very capable processor for video/photo editing. Along with it's low price, it's a much better option for you.

We'd build the computer for you for free, by the way :)

Cheers man. Do you have a website?

Will the above have no issue fitting into Phantom Case?

What are the main things to look out for when purchasing parts, regarding fitting into the case you have?

How do you mean? When I said "We'll build it for free" I was talking about us PC Builders on boards.ie, as opposed to me owning a website which builds people PCs for free :D.

Or do you mean what website was I referring the from? If so, it's hardwareversand.de. They're German if you haven't guessed already. They've got really good prices compared to Irish (and most UK) retailers, and as a result we recommend them loads. Shipping is €18.99 flat, and their website is crap to navigate unless you use it every day.

No issue at all at all at all. It's a pretty spacious case.

That's a pretty vague question, I guess making sure that they offer good price/performance and are reliable. Rule of thumb: Check with us before you click the order button, and you'll be fine :D.
