It's never over against the All Blacks, this will go down to the whistle.

No, that would be 60-0, liammur. But a heavy defeat, I agree.

It's over. Would take a Leinster-like comeback to win this one.

Giving McCaw the send-off he doesn't deserve. I'll cop it on the chin, and move on. There is 1 redeeming factor - it's not a RWC 1/4 final :)

Lots of Sarries playing for England, good or bad thing for Munster for next week?

Fair play to England. It's been a long time since NZ conceded 32 points.

They conceded 32 against SA in Sep 2009, 34 against Oz in July 2008, and 37 against Wales in RWC03

Reminds me of the Aussie-England game in 2010

Fair play to England, not the most talented side but they've a confidence bordering on arrogance as a rugby nation that makes them capable of performances like this that we could only dream of.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,461 ✭✭✭liammur

They should try and hit them for 50, good shot in the arm for NH rugby.

Think Sexton's facing serious competition for that Lions jersey now.

It's all in the 6N. Farrell will have to start first.

All Blacks defence was atrocious for those tries. Well done England though.

Fair dues to Poms. They're doing it with tries, as opposed to increments of three points.
I wonder how Chris Rattue is taking all this?

With Wales leading Australia, do these results as they stand affect world cup seeding?

Their heads are down and seems like they've given up. Just going through the motions now. Don't often see that in an AB side

In his stride. He as much anti-NZ as pro-NZ at times.

Total humiliation for the ABs. Who'd have predicted it ?

Anybody remember a single NZ turnover won not from a maul.

    The French?

A line I remember for the Will Greenwood article yesterday when talking about the All Blacks team.

"If SBW was playing this would be the greatest team that I ever seen"

Considering how England played and Frances form, we are in trouble come 6 Nations.

Never a match v Eng without a dropgoal LOL

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,800 ✭✭✭Tomtom364

Not to take anything from Englands preformance, it has been immense.

But to be fair to the AB's, 30 out of 32 of your players down with a vomiting bug mid week, that is bound to take effect on any team, including the mighty ABs.

Great to see the result! But England couldnt have gotten luckier with the situation of the ABs Squad.

    Not hugely.

Wales will stay in the top 8 and Oz will drop to fourth with France going to fifth.

Oh and Deans will lose his job.

I won't make excuses, Eng were better, vomiting bug or not. There is a re-run of this match next November.

NZ trying making tough work out of scraping a consolation try.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,636 ✭✭✭✭Tox56

I have never seen the ABs make so many handling errors, the comms putting it down to the defence (and did that play a part) but New Zealand have faced defences as good as this and not made this many mistakes.

Three botched tries at the end. NZ played for about 8 minutes.

Bit different playing away from home though. Hopefully we won't have those in receipt of ticket allocations flogging off to highest bidder across the ditch like in 2003.

New Zealand looked sensational for 5-10 minutes, but the middle 20 minutes of the second half was equally sensational for England. Great performance.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,578 ✭✭✭✭Turtwig

How many missed tackles and mistakes did Carter make today?
    Mind Boggling.

Fair play England, but NZ barely played in this match. Shocking defence.

Thank you for posting this. I was thinking it but it would look like sour grapes if I said it. I can live with dropping a match to England every 10 years.

At least Wales have choked again. Complete & utter inability to see out a game v SH opposition.

Pity they didn't smash the 50 barrier, but that puts NH rugby right bang up there.
