My sister and brother in law are currently looking for a 46-50 smart TV. They're looking around locally here in Galway and have found some deals on currys.ie and argos. But wanted to ask if you guys had some suggestions or advice on what to buy?

They don't care too much if it's 3D. LED is preferred over plasma. Full HD is preferred over HD Ready. They want good internet connectivity and "smart" features.

Thanks for the opportunity to quote!

Have a look at the LG 47LM760 - it blows the budget slightly at £1099.95 / €1369.99 but it really is a stunning 800Hz LED TV with ALL the bells n whistles - have a look online at the specs here: http://www.lg.com/uk/tvs/lg-47LM760T-3d-tv

If you want to save a little we also have the 47LM620 at £699.95 http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/lg/47lm620t/lg-47lm620t

..however whilst I note your thoughts on Plasma if I was going out shopping now with £1000 / €1000 in my back pocket - I'd seriously think about the LG 50PM670 http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/lg/50pm670t/lg-50pm670t - its only £599.95 / €749.99 but it really is a stunning TV and leaves most LED's trailing in it's wake when it comes to picture AND sound quality (and of course it's bigger!)

Have a look at the spec here and keep us posted if we can assist: http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv---all/lg/50pm670t/lg-50pm670t

Interested in the LG 50PM670. What are the chances of the price coming down in the sales?

The Richersounds sale has started in store today (see www.richersounds.co.uk for details) and sales items are usually available to anyone, subject to any stock limitations.

The guys are likely to be busy in the store for the nect few days with understandable consequences for response time on the forum. If your query is urgent you might like to contact RS directly - phone numbers etc can be found here www.richersounds.ie.
