Hi Penn,
There's not a whole lot the devs can do about this - crazy advertisers play with the z-index (front-to-back ordering) of elements. The only way to get the menu in front of it is to have a higher z-index. It's a race to the top - the most ridiculous value wins - but it's a race we won't be engaging in
If you report the ad in Feedback then hopefully Nicola can get in touch with the ad agency or get it pulled.
